HIS PRESENCE.

“ THAT I MAY DWELL AMONG THEM” ( Ex.25:8).

Jesus was the Centre of Attraction as well as occupying a central position. It is of interest to mark how often we read of Christ being “ in the midst.”

JEHOVAH’S PRESENCE. Deuteronomy 1:33.

The cloud was the symbol of the Lord’s presence and it was the secret of Israel’s protection. Sometimes the cloud was over them; sometimes behind them; and sometimes before them. Thus the Lord was over them to shield; behind them to defend; and before them to lead. So He is with us (Psalm 84:11; Psalm 91:4 10; John 10:4). The Lord’s presence is the—
